Serving HTML Content
The Dynamic Image Server can render regular web pages, based on standard HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Such content can be served either from a local folder on the image server computer, by using a relative path, or from the Internet, by using a fully qualified URL.
Put the local path or the URL into the “Path” field in the Dynamic Image media item.
NOTE: When using a URL, the Dynamic Image Server mush have Internet access in order to fetch the content.
If you want to display only a section of a web page, such as a weather map from a weather site, you can use a Crop tween track to extract the desired part. The dimensions you specify in the Dynamic Image media item must be large enough to include the desired part from the outset.
