WATCHOUT wall in Tokyo venue

METoA Ginza is an event gallery space at Tokyu Plaza, in the Ginza district of Tokyo, which opened in spring 2016. Described as "a place for discovery” it brings together art, culture and tradition through exciting technologies from Mitsubishi Electric.

Dataton's WATCHOUT multi-display system is deployed on two floors at the popular venue. On the second floor, there is an impressive videowall consisting of sixty-four 55" Mitsubishi LCD displays (16 x 4) which acts as an artwork in its own right, reflecting the current theme of the gallery. The content for this high-resolution wall is fed from four display servers running Dataton WATCHOUT multi-display software with each of the server outputs equipped with four-way switchers. 

On the third-floor, the visitor is greeted by two videowalls consisting of 16 plus 4 displays. Content is created and played back with WATCHOUT with scheduling control from a custom app developed by Laguna Hills.
