Dataton wins LDI 2016 Award

Las Vegas, October 22, 2016: Dataton & premium partner Show Sage won the LDI 2016 Award for Best Small Booth at the recent LDI pro-lighting and theater show in Las Vegas. The judges selected the Dataton booth for "making great use of a small space that really has impact showing off the software's projection capabilities."

The physical look of the Dataton booth was designed by MOOV, Poland, based on Dataton's hallmark black truss together with sculpted and plywood elements. The main content consisted of a WATCHOUT show, created and programmed by MOOV, which was presented on a mix of fifty-five LED panels and three projectors. The overall aim of the content was to demonstrate the mapping and media playback features in Dataton's flagship product, the WATCHOUT multi-display production system.

Key tech partners at the LDI Show were Roe Visual who provided professional, programmable LED panels and Epson for large-venue projectors.

LDI was the final appearance of this booth design, a larger version of which was debuted at ISE in February 2016. Smaller versions of the booth and its content have been employed at InfoComm China, Prolight + Sound Frankfurt, and InfoComm16 in Las Vegas.
