Dataton showcases new releases at InfoComm 16

Dataton will be giving visitors to InfoComm booth N547 a sneak peek at an upcoming software release and new hardware. Beside a stunning demonstration of the company's WATCHOUT multi-display software and projection mapping at the booth, visitors are invited to check out the new version of WATCHNET manager software and WATCHPAX 4, the latest addition to Dataton's range of media players.

WATCHNET is web-based manager software for Dataton WATCHOUT multi-display systems, enabling interactive control from custom-designed panels. WATCHNET recently added a range of skinning features for the panel design, opening up for greater creativity and customization in the user interface. The upcoming release, previewed at InfoComm, continues to improve workflow for designers but also adds the ability to control external devices – great news for system integrators.

Visitors to booth N547 will be the first to see the powerful new version of Dataton's award-winning WATCHPAX media player. Engineered for top performance in WATCHOUT shows, WATCHPAX 4 is a dedicated display server with four outputs and preloaded with a WATCHOUT license. Compact, stackable and rugged, WATCHPAX 4 is ready to roll, straight out-of-the-box.

The Dataton booth at InfoComm features a synchronized, projection-mapped WATCHOUT show on a landscape of sculpted mountains against a complex LED-panel backdrop. The fifty-five LED panels, six large venue projectors, and audio will all be running under the latest version of WATCHOUT, released to coincide with the InfoComm show. External control will be via the upcoming version of Dataton's WATCHNET manager software. Dataton is proud to partner with projection manufacturer Epson and ROE Visual for the high-end display hardware on the booth.
